Frost (Robert) is born in San Francisco.

Robert Frost moves with his family to New England in 1885, and subsequently graduates from Lawrence High School, attends Dartmouth College and Harvard College. Unable to find a market for his poetry in the U.S., he moves to England and publishes two well-received books there. Returning to the U.S., he moves to Boston in 1938 and lives in a fourth floor apartment at 88 Mount Vernon Street until 1941. An annual speaker at the Ford Hall Forum, Frost dies in Boston January 29, 1963.
